Artist Maurizio Cattelan’s Guggenheim retrospective last year was immensely popular, and he follows up his New York takeover with this commissioned billboard for High Line Art. The 25x75 billboard features bejeweled fingers emerging from a deep blue velvet background, which is beguiling and strange at the same time. Cattelan created the piece in conjunction with Pierpaolo Ferrari, his partner in producing the Italian photography magazine Toilet Paper.
